FAQ

Questions that come up often

Is your question not listed? Just call +31 30 23 23 796, it saves you searching.

How do I know how much I can borrow?

That depends on your income, any debts, the home itself and the interest rate at the time. In a first conversation I work it out with you, so you have a realistic amount instead of an estimate from an online calculator.

What does mortgage advice cost?

You hear up front what the advice costs and what you get for it. No amount added afterwards. I discuss the exact fees in the first conversation, tailored to what you need. You also receive the service document, so you have it in writing what you are paying for.

Can I come to you as a first-time buyer?

Certainly. As a first-time buyer it helps to have someone who explains things calmly. We start from what feels comfortable each month, not from the maximum amount possible.

When should I get in touch if I want to buy a house?

Ideally before you make an offer. Then you know what you can bid and how quickly you can move. You are also welcome to call while you are still exploring and have not decided anything.

Can you review my existing mortgage?

Yes. We look at your current rate, term and conditions and compare them with what is possible now. Sometimes the conclusion is that you are fine as you are. That is an outcome too.

Is a first conversation without obligation?

Yes. Getting acquainted is without obligation. You tell me what you are working on, I tell you what is possible. Then you decide whether to continue.

Where can I find you?

At Van Heeswijkstraat 32 in Udenhout, on weekdays from 9:00 to 17:30. There is free parking nearby. You can call +31 30 23 23 796 or mobile +31 6 83 38 33 35.

Can the conversation be in English or Polish?

Yes. PleinFinance helps clients in Dutch, English and Polish. Useful when not everyone at the table speaks the same language, or if you have not lived in the Netherlands for long.

Which documents do I need?

Usually your ID, details of your income and an overview of your own savings. If you are self-employed, figures from recent years are added. You get a checklist in advance, so you do not have to go looking halfway through.

Get acquainted

You do not need to have decided anything to give me a call.

Tell me what you are working on. Then we look together at what a logical next step would be.

Free parking nearby. Rather email than call first? That works too.
